Andy is an Italian-trained chef who started his culinary career in Rome, where he immersed himself in the traditions of sustainability, local sourcing, and the slow food movement. His cooking is guided by a simple philosophy: let ingredients speak for themselves. With experience in kitchens across the Pacific Northwest—from Seattle to the San Juan Islands—Andy honed his craft by working closely with seasonal produce and adapting to diverse settings. Here in Kauai, he draws inspiration from the island’s sun-soaked land and abundance, highlighting the raw beauty of its harvest with dishes that are honest, refined, and deeply rooted in community.
Sam brings a complementary spirit to the kitchen, shaped by a lifelong practice of yoga, sound healing, and holistic living. For her, every meal begins with the land. She believes that fresh, in-season ingredients form the foundation of nourishment—not just for the body, but for the whole self. Her journey has taken her from Vietnam to Italy, exploring cultural traditions, wellness practices, and the ways food connects us across the globe. With a degree in Wine Business Management and years spent managing one of Washington’s top wineries, Sam also brings a thoughtful pairing of food, wine, and hospitality. Her warmth and joy infuse every gathering, creating an atmosphere that feels both intimate and welcoming.
